BIMTEC was appointed by DOPMO to set up BIM Requirements to be met by all consultants, contractors, and suppliers working on the project. After setting the requirements, BIMTEC was responsible for managing all BIM related matters throughout the development of the project by validating the models produced by all project stakeholders. BIMTEC also plays a key role in the coordination of the overall design received from all project consultants. The BIM requirements set up by BIMTEC includes COBie specifications, which will serve as the basis for Facility Management, along with the As-Built model created by BIMTEC through laser scanning technologies.
